Position Description – Has primary responsibilities and duties related to maintaining accurate accounting records for the sales and distribution of bearings. Provides management with financial analysis, advice and direction as necessary.

 

Functions/Responsibilities
 Record and analyze the company's financial information.
 Analyze and interpret financial information that management requires to make sound business decisions.
 Review and monitor costs inherent in the business.
 Financial forecasting and planning. Prepare and annual budget and long term forecasting as requested
 Perform variance analysis to budgets, plans and forecasts
 Assist with the risk management of the company by determining various insurance requirements and the most appropriate coverage
 Audits accuracy and compliance of payroll and employee benefits with all legal requirements and company policies and procedures
 Maintains accounting controls with an established chart of accounts; defined accounting policies and procedures and monitoring the compliance to the policies and procedures
 Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
 Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
 Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
 Coordinate accounting activities and records with the outside CPA firm for reviews and tax preparations

Oversee and supervise the following accounting activities:
 Preparation of customer invoices based on shipping documents, part number and pricing lists
 Preparing supplier billings for payments utilizing Quick Books
 Maintaining current and accurate files (manual and digitized) of accounting transactions
 Preparing accounting reports from Quick Books as required for management and financial requirements
 Reconciliation of bank accounts to the general ledger
 Communications with customers regarding shipments, payments and past due invoices
 Communications with vendors and suppliers regarding billings

Competencies – Bilingual Chinese/English, Requires strong accounting skills and managerial accounting capabilities, computer competencies in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, QuickBooks accounting system.

Education – position requires a Bachelor of Science, Accounting major

Experience – a minimum of experience of five years in a job related environment. Hands on experience with Quick Books is preferred;

Reporting – The Accounting Manager reports directly to the President of the company

Physical Demands – This job requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, full use of a computer and keyboard, with minimal lifting of fifteen pounds or less.
