Mr. Jeff Zijian Zhao

Mr. Jeff Zijian Zhao is president of Andus R&D, Inc. and is currently leading the North American operation of the Tempo Group, which includes Andus and a number of other companies spread in China, North America and Europe.

Business lines of the Tempo Group consist of auto parts production and complete vehicle assembly. The Group opened its North American R&D in Southern California 4 years ago and started its Detroit region engineering operation earlier this year. The aim of the Group is to become a world-class auto parts and components supplier with vehicle assembly capabilities.

After graduating from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in journalism, Jeff Zhao started his career as Xinhua News Agency Washington correspondent. He has later served as European-North American Division Chief for that media organization before pursued a Ph.D. program in University of Maryland, College Park. After a few years stint in a local California press, he went to become Editor-in-chief of Silicon Valley Journal and then as Publisher of E21times, both high-tech and investment online information services. In 2002, Jeff Zhao joined the Tempo Group and became president of Andus R&D, Inc. later that year.
