Mr. Wenhui Xiong

Mr. Wenhui Xiong is the Deputy Executive of Nansha District, City of Guangzhou.

He worked as a secretary in Guangzhou Foreign Trade Bureau in 1985. From 1988 to 2002，he served as director in the department of Office of General Affairs, Planning and Finance, Guangzhou Committee of Foreign Trade and Economy and the assistant of the Director General. From 2002 to 2007, he was Director General of Economic Development Bureau of Nansha Development Zone, Guangzhou. In those years, he had been working on attracting investments to the harbor-related industries, high-tech and modern logistics. He also actively participated the work of promoting the Toyota assembly and engine projects and its auto suppliers to settle down in Nansha.

Mr. Xiong has a Master Degree of Economics. In addition, he is fond of literature, and has published quite some articles. He is a member of Guangdong Author Association.
