The
Company assembles auto A/C system for Jinbei 6480A1. The designed annual
capacity is 50,000 A/C modules. Shanghai Delphi Auto A/C Company (SDAAC) is the
major supporter and backbone of the company. SDAAC is responsible for the joint
venture’s equipment, technology, quality and product.
During the startup of the joint venture, SDAAC transferred all the
engineering documents of Jinbei 6480A1 to the JV, performed selection, build,
setup, adjustment of the production line, ordered inspection and measuring
equipment, imported main parts of filling machines from Japan and refurbished
them. The joint venture uses packed
components from SDAAC and Shanghai’s engineering and quality standards,
conducts assembly and inspection according to SDAAC’s process and quality
requirements. SDAAC performs test and validation of the JV’s product. The leak
tester and balance machine used here were also imported from Japan in a pack.
There are 50 employees in the joint venture, among them 15 are engineering and
managing staff. Our production and
managing staff are trained by SDAAC. SDAAC
provides on-going technical support and monitors quality during the production.
