In cooperation with Butzel Long Law Firm, Detroit Chinese Business Association completed the third business seminar of its series in the evening of June 27, 2007 at Hyatt Regency Dearborn.

Matthew E. Wilkins, a shareholder lawyer practicing in Butzel Long’s Detroit office, addressed the audiences the bolts-and-nuts of maximizing your position when your customer or supplier files bankruptcy. Peter Theut, Chairman of Butzel Long's Global Trade and Transactions Practice, outlined the various methods utilized by foreign investors to acquire US businesses and also addressed sources of funding. Mr. Jay Wang, the CEO and President of Daimay North America, shared his experience and thoughts on growing US business. Daimay Automotive in China is one of the major manufacturers of automotive sun visors and steering wheels. Daimay entered US market four years ago and now it is a $100 million revenue company.
